Oscars extends international feature film shortlist to 15

The Academy said on Friday (January 15) that because of the pandemic it has changed the manner by which it picks the waitlist and extended the number from 10 to 15 competitors.

To evade face to face get-togethers, this season the worldwide element film fundamental council will see the entries and vote by mystery voting form to create the whole waitlist of 15.

Already the board decided on seven of the movies, and the worldwide element leader panel would meet to pick a further three.

The international feature film nominating committee of trustees should see the 15 shortlisted movies will at that point vote by mystery voting form to decide five candidates.

Final voting in favor of the honor will be limited to dynamic and life Academy individuals who have seen every one of the five chosen people.
